Hey sassy and sexy people!!! I am here to break down the ins and outs to picking the right foundation for your exceptional skin tone!! Foundation is literally the FOUNDATION to creating a flawless face and it is very important to make sure you are choosing the correct color tone for your skin. If you are the girl or guy that doesn't know where to start, this is what you do:
1. ask your friends/family about what products to use- if you don't know what products to try or what works well for your look, ask around baby! Ask family, friends, check out blogs and of course Youtube. Everyone pics their foundation for varies reasons but trying other peoples suggestion gives you a base, then you can go from there.
2. liquid vs. powder - generally, there are two types of foundations, liquid and powder. You also have the option of creams. I personally prefer powder because it can give you a medium to light coverage, which can accentuate your natural features. Liquid foundations give you more of a full coverage, coupled with some pressing powder, will give a matte look which can make you look more NAT-U-RALL! Its important to try them both at some point to see which you like.

And although there are many no-no's in this photo...the idea is to try and match your foundation with your true skin tone. the easiest way to find your shade is to hold it up to your hand and compare. You will need a little common sense for this part! NO SHADE! If you pick a brand without many color tone options, it would be wise to find a shade lighter and a shade darker than your actual complexion then mix the two to get a color closes to your skin tone.
4.finally, make sure to E.X.P.E.R.I.M.E.N.T.!!!!!! It is sooooo important to try new things and experiment. If you never try any new products you will never really find those products that you love.
Finding the perfect foundation is almost a myth. There are so many different formulas that are constantly changing and improving that to say there is only one would be silly!!! Just make sure to have fun and try as much variety as you can. Always remember to Live and be Great!!!!
