Highlight those features!

Hello everyone!  We are here again for another great entry!  Many beauty bloggers talk about highlighting and contouring your face to chisel out your strong jaw bone or being forth your high cheek bones..... but what does any of that means??????  Well i wanted to break down what highlighting and contouring really is and IF you are still interested, i wanted to tell you how to accomplish both looks with simple affordable products!

SO let's start with highlighting:  all highlighting MAINLY does is brighten under your eyes.  Yelp
that all I got for you!  Highlighting is for the sole purpose to draw light to the brightest parts of your face, which normally is where you "highlight."  typically people like to highlight under their eyes to eliminate dark circles and to give the illusion of wider eyes (you can also use white eye linear in your water line to give this effect).

what can you use to "HIGHLIGHT": any concealer as least two shade LIGHTER than your natural complexion will do the trick. The purpose is to highlight so you need a shade that is lighter than your skin tone to brighten up your face.

how do i apply: grab your favorite concealer and make a triangle shape under each eye. I personally like to highlight my forehead bridge of my nose, cupid bow and my chin.  Next blend the concealer into your skin until evenly blended.  Once you have blended to your liking, make sure to set the concealer with your favorite setting or pressed powder.  The setting powder is use to stop creasing and hold the makeup in place.

There are two kinds of setting powder I like to use depending on the time of the year and basically my mood!!! Airspun Loose Face Powder  {naturally neutral} and Maybelline New York Dream Wonder pressed Powder in the color {95 "coconut"}

Airspun: it is a translucent powder that will eliminate creasing and give you a matte finish.
Maybelline Pressed Powder: it is a pressed powder that is not technically a "setting powder" but because it is a powder it will have them same effect.  I use this product the most because it is smooth and SUPER effective.  The Airspun can cast a slight white shadow specially in the Summer and Spring so the Maybelline is my GO TO!!
