Hi all my guys and gals!!! This post is all about one of my favorite types of makeup, it is what can make or break your entire look. This item can be worn no matter if you were full face make up or not. What are you talking Britt???? (wait for the dramatic pause........)LIPSTICKKKKKK!!!! I live and die by a good tube of lipstick!! there are thousands of shade with hundreds of brands, and I want to share my top three brands of lipstick, not to mention how to apply a good lip!!!!
When I first began my make-up journey, I was all about the Covergirl Queen collection lipsticks. These lipsticks are very pigmented and give great moisture to your lips. The Queen collection has many warm pinks, reds and violet kind of colors!!! This collection has a "spicy seduction" gold that is simple to die for!!!! Here are a few of my favorite colors......
Next, is a brand that I instantly fell in love with after wearing it only once! Milani, for me, is one of the most inexpensive, well pigmented lipsticks I have come across. Milani lipsticks are very pigmented and last long on your lips. Another great thing about this brand is there lip gloss!!! I am not a huge fan of lip gloss mainly because I was horrified as child with the clear thick gloss that I and all my friends just had to have!!!! BUTTTTTTTT..... I decided to try out a few shades of Milani's lip gloss and I L.I.V.E. They are SUPER pigmented, especially for gloss, and they last as long as the lipsticks!!!! Check them out......
The last bite of lip porn I want to share is actually a brand that may not be well known. It is actually more of a "drug store" brand. It is called RK by kiss. This brand are all matte lipsticks and they are simple lovely! they are pigmented, but i do find my self coloring in my lips with lip liner before applying this lipstick. Although you have to do a little more with these lipsticks, i feel as though it is WELL worth it!!!!
I am a complete hoarder of lipsticks and i have too many shades to count!!! i believe lipstick is a definite staple in anyone's total look, but another part of it is how you apply it. Make sure that your lips are moisterized very well. You can also use primer for moisture and to help the lipstick last longer. It is always good to start with a liner first, making sure to not only line the frame of your mouth, but also fill in your lips. now it is time for the lipstick!!!! make sure to apply enough to complament the fullness of your lips. Afterwards you want to clean up the outer rims of your lips with either a q-tip or a little concealer annndddddd PERFECTION!!!!!
